Keep a girl in school for 18 months

Our aim is to provide young girls with the resources they need to live their lives comfortably during their menstruation. Our non-profit assists previously disadvantaged girls stay in school by providing them with high quality, disposable sanitary pads. Mimi’s for-profit arm empowers women from disadvantaged backgrounds to sell sanitary pads within their communities. We give women across Africa an opportunity to make extra income through Mimi and this empowers them.

During COVID-19, Mimi has expanded efforts to support homeless and unemployed women in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.
